LOSING YOU
Dedicated To: Mikayla my Daughter.
I promise you when I say,
That giving you up was the most heartbreaking day.
There is only one other type of pain to compare mine too,
And that could only be death taking you.
People always say they feel you heartache,
Well I am sorry but this is something most mothers couldn't imagine having to take.
All I can say is either way I was losing you,
Knowing that against my own hearts pleads there was nothing I could do.
I had to face reality,
That by losing you I was also losing a bit of my sanity.
So as I held you one last time to say goodbye,
All I wanted to do was die.
So with this blinding pain I walked away,
Knowing I had to always live for you each day.
