NEVER ABANDONED

I see you every day,
Your beauty shines in every way.
I felt so special to always be by your side,
You never knew the shame I tried to hide.
You believed me when I tried to speak,
About the abuse that was making me weak.
Everyone who saw just covered for him,
And intentionally lied to make me out to be covered in sin.
Now everyone in school thought so little,
But never would you belittle.
You always put a smile on my face,
Never allowing me to feel the disgrace.
When I would wake up in the morning,
I knew you would never be boring.
You never failed to always be there,
When I was being hurt and there was no one to care.
I knew that it didn’t matter when,
I always had a very protective friend.
Finally I got my revenge in the end,
By showing everyone how I walked away stronger cause of my perfect friend.
