Poems
TAKEN
I have lost the will to fight,
Like the passing of the night.
My dignity was ripped away,
Without it my beauty wouldn’t stay.
Self loathing was now here,
Shame I now held dear.
The feel of disgust is holding strong,
My pride didn’t last long.
I wasted so much time,
Trying to hold myself up to shine.
I fought with all I had,
Trying not to go mad.
I thought I had a chance,
But I wasn’t worth a second glance.
