FINAL SERENITY
Serenity has finally come my way,
Never thinking I would see this day.
Finally I have gathered the will to stand tall,
Knowing that you wouldn’t let me fall.
A frightened little girl once stood here,
Every muscle trembling in fear.
You simply walked up and grabbed my hand,
Knowing that this was something I did not understand.
You just smiled and walked beside me,
Not knowing what has hurt me so deeply.
From that day my life got brighter,
And all my thought no longer filled with anger.
Now serenity finally fills my soul,
And now I am finally the one in control.
