STAYING EUPHORIA
Finally I found my light,
I somehow made it burn so bright.
Everyone stopped to gaze,
With looks a blaze.
I couldn’t believe I was finally being seen,
Only beauty did I bring.
Perfection was all mine,
Finally it was my turn to shine.
I couldn’t possibly let this go,
I feared with that loss was the coming of sorrow.
Never have I been allowed to feel this way,
I desperately needed this euphoria to stay.
No more would I be unseen,
No more pain could anyone possibly bring.
I was not even close to being special before,
And now my beauty they all want to adore.
