STOLEN TIME
I have been with you for so very long,
The thought of leaving seems so wrong.
I have created a family with the man I thought was you,
You were the one I was always used too.
Over the years I had convinced myself I wanted to stay,
Even when I thought you had already betray.
I chose to believe I was your whole life,
And you couldn’t live without me as your wife.
So I made myself believe I was you perfection,
And I always had to be your protection.
Now I feel like you have stolen too much time,
And that I am living on a borrowed dime.
I can never forgive you for how you treated our life together,
And now without you I am determined to make mine better.
Good bye forever I hope we never again cross ways,
I refuse to let you destroy the rest of my days.
