UNWAVERING LOYALTY
Are you sure you want to stand by my side,
You don’t have to protect my pride.
I have to stand up and put an end to all of this,
Or I will be the one you will forever miss.
I know it will continue to get bad,
Then I will regret all the chances I once had.
I understand if this is too much for you to bare,
You loyalty is something that cannot compare.
I can see in your eyes you can’t step down,
While we just stare into each other’s eyes not making a sound.
We both know what needs to be done,
And we both know there will be no chance to run.
It is all or nothing from this day on,
All chances to back down have long since gone.
I will go into battle and protect you from death,
With even my own last dying breath.
