WHO I AM
I don’t know how to possibly explain,
Without sounding completely insane.
There is a darkness inside,
In fear of judgment I have learned to hide.
I can never be who deep down I really am,
The person you now see is all a scam.
People see me as always being weak,
Thinking I have no voice to attempt to use to speak.
I warn them of this darkness I try to hide,
But they are too full of their stupid pride.
So I let their ego lead their way,
All the while knowing their confidence is guaranteed to betray.
Everyone always assumes I am to insignificant to be any kind of threat,
But what I have is something they have never met.
You see I may look weak and as easy prey,
But secretly I have temporarily hidden my insanity away.
